New Website Launched The Gen Fitness (www.genfitness.com) site has been launched!!! This site is dedicated to people who want to get fit or stay fit. It's actually my idea but we've been working on it off and on for a long time. The site is for advice and news on fitness and a way for others to share their stories. It's going to be user driven, meaning that anybody who wants to contribute or suggest functionality is more than welcome to do so.
There will be product reviews in order to give people an understanding of what types of fitness
products are out there and whether or not they are effective or not. The range of equipment could come from infomercials, from sports stores, or any other source of fitness related items.
The site will also have bloggers who can contribute their own stories or have a way to talk about fitness in order to share their methods of staying fit or even becoming fit.
As well, there will be news articles that come from different sources and will be of interest to people coming to the Gen Fitness community.
What does 'Gen Fitness' stand for? Well, at first it was supposed to stand for 'General Fitness' but someone suggested it could stand for 'Generation Fitness'. Check out the site and see what you think. Click Here
New Content Management System Implementation Ever since we started using the Sitefinity CMS, we've fallen in love. It's an extremely easy to use and easy to implement CMS that gives us the ability to offer design and content effortlessly. For the customer who wants to manage their content all the time, it's extremely easy to use.
The feeling here has always been that CMS systems will get so easy, there will never be a need to create
web sites in the traditional sense where a company would have to always update the content. Sitefinity really provides that ease of use and allows the customer to edit their own content. There are tools that allow them to edit the content as well as the ability to customize the text if they so desire through HTML and CSS if the customer wants to take that extra step.
Electronic WayFinding, wave of the future
As things change, signs need to change. What we're speaking of here is
WayFinding and what it can do for us in an electronic age. Going to a large mall can be confusing, even if using traditional signs.

The sign lists all the stores and areas of the mall, then you have to determine where you are, then determine where you need to go. Alot of looking around to be sure. But what if the information can be made available with the click of a button and printed to take with you and find your way. Hospitals are constantly changing their environment so much that even the staff don't always know where to go. With our electronic WayFinding system, you have the ability to always have up to the minute information on where departments are, doctor's are, even patient room locations. Click on the link above for WayFinding to get more information on our implementation of this technology.
